Situated on the western flank of Dartmoor in Devon, The Elephant’s Nest is a good base for visiting a wide range of activities and attractions in Devon and Cornwall.
Near the villages of Mary Tavy and Peter Tavy, obviously there is the most fantastic countryside and walking on the moor to enjoy. Other local activities include horse riding and paragliding. We are also no more than 40 minutes from the beaches of North Devon and Cornwall.
Tavistock is a wonderful town to visit, having been voted the UK’s best market town in 2005 and is renowned as one of the best towns in the South West for local food and produce.
